To tie all of your Zigbee controlled smart home products together you require a hub, and we did not spare design quality when it came to building ours. This tiny smart home hub measures 7cm in diameter and 2cm in height making it very easy to hide around your home. However we did not want the hub to be considered an ugly necessary item that must be hidden so we made it beautiful.
With scratch resistant ivory glass and a sleek led lit circle in the middle to display connection, this hub can quite easily be placed anywhere without ruining the vibe of your home or office.
Why Zigbee.
Zigbee is one of the fastest and safest communications protocols that exist to date. It was specifically designed for the smart home sector as it allows your devices to mesh together using the mesh network technology. This gives each device the ability to relay its message back and fourth through other devices that may be closer to the hub allowing for greater distances between the hub and the end device.
It also boasts fast reaction speeds and ultimate protection with the use of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) block cipher that employs a 128 bit key. Zigbee can also support up to 65,000 nodes on a single network meaning you will never be unable to connect a new device due to having to many connected devices.
